1) How do you see contemporary photos of the conflict publicized in western media contributing to the progress (or lack thereof) of obtaining understanding for Israelis and Palestinians as human beings, rather than simply actors in a long-term conflict?
2) How far do you believe photography can go as a tool for understanding? What determines the limitations of knowledge one can obtain from viewing a series of photos?
